Maanglers.com Ct. River Striper Challenge

Since there are quite a few striper anglers on board I am going to offer the first of hopefully many seasonal striper tournies on the Ct. River come this spring. Starting in March of 2007 through June 2007 which is the typical time span of stripers in good numbers running up the river.
I have been asked by some of the members to put this on and the idea is becoming a reality.

Currently I am in the beginning phases of making rules and regulations ect. More details will be dicussed about this at the Social Outing on November 26, 2006. There will be registration forms, tournament rules, and waiver release forms for people interested in fishing the 2007 Striper Challenge at the Outing.

If you are unable to make the outing on November 26, 2006. I will be posting up the forms on the site on December 1, 2007. So stay tuned, and get ready for the spring run its gonna be exciting.

Yes, I've seen guys who have run around the same sized boat as yours on the river in moderate conditions. Alot of them just anchor up on the flats or deep holes and toss lures or chunks.

so for Spring 2007, is there a tourney? or its not starting till spring of 2008?
