Arrowd a nice bodied spike tonight, the arrow was all blody, but just like the last deer we couldnt get a blood trail. We will hopefully find it tmmrw.Bash1 Bash1 Bash1 Bash1 Bash1 Bash1 Bash1 Bash1

So, If anybody lives in central/eastern MA, here is my cry out to youLaughing1 , I am rounding people up to go and look for him tommorow. Its a small patch of woods, and i wanna scan every inch of it. So, I will be doing this after school(around 2)

Is there any water in the area??? Every deer I have ever tracked has either wound up in water or on the way to it!!! Especially if wasn't a great kill shot!

Hey Yote, Take it easy on Junior...he shot the deer from the adult stakes...he only shoots pro at the junior stakes!!! LOL

Just getting you going junior!!!! Go find that buck...and I would recomend going out tonight to find it because all blood will be lost in the rain in the early am!!!!

Yea, we pretty much gave up on the blood trail. We are going to look for just the deer now. I made a good shot on this deer, and the last deer, Im just having bad luck. I saw this deer kick up, then i heard it running through the water ( river/swamp kind of thing), And i may have heard it go down, so we will look tommorow, Im gunna get some of my freinds out there in the rain.

I think we will find it, because it deffintly went down.

The area is all scraped up, and we jumped 2 deer when we went back to get the blood trail. So i will have a shot at another deer. My goal is 3 this year, and im only 1 1/2 away

Yea, Jr is on fire this year. The spot he is in is holding some pissed offf bucks, an amazing amount of sign in there. Both deer he hit were solid shots, not sure about this one, but the last one was a bit high so he pooled up and didn't give good blood. The deer we were on last night amazes me, I feel pretty confident in my tracking abilities, but there was nothing to go on. The deer was hit solid and there was blood half way up the shaft of the arrow, with the 1/3 end of the arrow broken off, and not a drop of blood anywhere.....I was beaten, and speechless. I hope we find him today.

Went out this morning with my dad. Found some hair up aways, but it looks like there were just 2 bucks fighting. We still have a whole lot of area to cover this afternoon.

I honestly think now, that that deer survived. We have looked all through this patch of woods and nothing to show for it.

Yea, knowing Mass, someone probably found the deer on its last breath at the edge of their lawn, cradled him and brought him to the vet and spent $4,000 on medical bills to recesitate the damn thing! What a crazy mixed up world we live in? Maybe they are all the sane ones and I am the whacko!.......those who know me might be able to answer that one.
