anyone know were i can get this done? or have a method that i can do by myself. i herd that you can cut out the tendons, salt it, then fill it with bondo and staple or sew the hide shut. just wondering if you had any information on it.

you mean for a gun mount or thermometer? easy, my friend is making me a bow holder from my buck too. slice down the back side of the leg a few inches and scrape the meat away (only for a gun holder, i can explain more if you want). toss it in a box of salt and leave it a few weeks. don't even worry if theres any other meat in there. when you're done, take a 3/8'' drill bit and clean out the cartilage too
