past few weeks ive seen 20 turks in a lot near the area i hunt at. gunna ask the owner for permisison if i can hunt it in the spring. other than that havent seen much. but i did take a walk out back and saw 1 set of deer tracks, found its fresh bed too. only crown, rabbits, and squirells on the camera. but the turkeys near my bus stop have mooved in. seem 5-10 of them roosted up in a tree and everytime someone slams a car door i hear a few gobbles. oh and i did jump a fox in my woods behind my house.
just wanted to hear from you guys to see what you were seeing.

I haven't seen much in my back fields. Usually 3 or 4 deer show up at dawn and/or dusk and a few fields down there is a brood of turkey. I haven't been in the woods shed hunting & scouting like I wanted so i'm behind. Sounds like you've got a pretty good turkey spot this year. Good luck to ya.

i've been in the woods 1 to 3 times a week the past 3 months. didn't start seeing anything till i found the local yard, but i see at least 10 deer each outing now. going back to main hunting spot tommorow to shed hunt and learn farther areas. back home i havent seen any deer sign in town. my trail cams actually buried in snow!

I've been seeing a large group of deer in Longmeadow between Forest Park and the CT line on the east side of 91N. They have been in there for about 2 months now and I'd have to say there's about 25 in the herd and they look real healthy Thumbsup

Went to Quabbin yesterday to get my pass. Watched an eagle feeding on a deer carcass on the ice. He was right next to shore.
