Cold Weather Suit?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Looking for input on what is a good cold weather suit. I personally prefer the bibb pants and a matching coat that goes over the pants so that they can be worn separately or together.

Around 25 years ago I bought a fluorescent camo suit, bibs and coat, from Sportsman’s Warehouse. It was the warmest and most versatile suit I ever saw. Plenty of pockets with Velcro closures, game pouch in the back, detachable hood, adjustable cuffs on the coat sleeves, long zippers in the legs for easy foot insertion even with heavy boots on, straps inside the coat so that you could slip the coat off but it was still attached to your back so you could move around without having to carry it.:)

After 25 years, the fish guts, deer blood, bird entrails, insulation packing down, and hard used it is time for a new suit.

Would be interested in getting some input from members about what they are wearing, what they like, why they like it and sources and prices for the same. I'm looking around on the internet now. It would appear that I missed the good sales at Dick's recently. Was there the other day and most everything left was crap.

Thanks for the input.:D

Picked up the new cold weather suit yesterday. Manufacturer is “Clams” that make the portable ice fishing shelters. Name of the suit is “Ice Armor”:o
<O:p
It is a parka & bibb pant combination. Has everything that I was looking for and then some. Plenty of pockets with closures, big long 2 way zippers, Velcro closures on the cuffs, adjustable hood, padded knees and butt section, storm closures on all zippers, totally wind & water proof.

Color is blue and black, not camo pattern so I guess I’ll be wearing a fluorescent vest while hunting.
<O:p
I will post my opinion about the suit after I have used it a few times.

My last suit did me for 25+ years so I imagine this one will do till I pass on to that big toad stool in the sky.:D <O:p

Looking for a new one myself, would like to get the camo style. Just hoping they make'em like they used to. Alot this stuff today is made like crap, one season used and the next thing you know you pull it out to use it again and bamm "where the hell did that hole come from"!! Was that there before?
