View Full Version : New Head Admin
Dear MAanglers Community,
I have some very exciting news for everyone that is a member on our site. I will be handing over the head admin role on MAanglers to Fisher16 aka Sean. This doesn’t mean that I am leaving the site at all. I will still be around as much as I always have been and will continue to update it, make changes to the code etc. Sean has been a long time member of MAanglers and was one of the first appointed moderators on the site. He brings a great deal of knowledge about the outdoors to the site and is incredible asset to us. Currently I do not have the time to devote as much time as I wish I could to the site; this is why I wanted to hand over the head role to Sean (since he has more time than I do). Sean will be a great leader and I am personally looking forward to the new enthusiasm that he will bring into this position. I want to thank everyone for reading this and I am giving everyone the opportunity to comment on this. Once again thanks to all that actively contribute on this site and make it grow. After all it wouldn’t be this great without you!
Sincerely,
JayW

Jay, thanks for all your time and effort.
Good job in realizing your time is better spent on your education at this point in your life, and handing over the top job to someone else.
We'll continue to look for your input and attendence at gatherings when feasible.
Fisher 16; Congratulations on your rise in station. Hope the pay increase is worth the effort, and that your shoulders can carry the extra load. Top administrator position does not allow you to pre-load your live well for MAangler tournaments.

i think this is a great site and you have done a great job. all the personnel involved seem very knowlegable and personable. i look forward to a long time of gaining and swapping info. thanks j
Sean has been doing an A+ job as moderator. Well above and beyond the call of duty. I'm sure that he puts in many hours during the week researching the different things that he posts to keep the members up to date whith what is going on. Congratulations Sean. Did Jay give you a raise in pay?Notsure Maybe a special shirt with a couple of stars on the collar?Laughing1 Just kidding.
Jay....your probably passing some of the responsibility off to Sean so you can concentrate more on your grades? If so that is a smart thing to do. Your only walking the education road once so dig deep and get all you can.
This site is excellent because of the hard work you have both put into it. Wish I could have done more and once things settle down here at home perhaps I can lend more of a hand.

Congrats to both Jay for having the foresight to start this site and to fisher for agreeing to take over the administration of it. I have met some good people and learned a few things and hopefully passed on a little something to other members. That is what it's all about so onward we go!
