I've listed the Machine Gun shoot in the Calender Section. For more details check out the bottom the page.
If anyone plans on being there let me know. I won't miss it even though its gonna rain a little.

Went out to the Westfield Sportsman Club for their annual Machine Gun shoot. Spent a little bit of money but I fired a big gun. I fired the 50 Caliber what a gun. Very accurate, and nice big boom to go with it. Its one of the biggest I've yet to fire. I really wanted to fire some of the others but they wanted to much dough for me to shell out. Very light crowd today due to the Weather. Still a cool time I will have a video of my shooting in a week or two to share with you guys.
I was out at Montgomery Road Animal Hospital yesterday afternoon with my dog Dick whose right rear leg is all farged up. I heard some of the shooting.....brought back some memories.
My general quarters battle station on both cutters I was on was 01 Deck, starboard 50 cal machine gunner. It's one hell of a gun....been around for over 70 years and has saved the lives of a lot of GI's.
Your right on with the money it costs to shoot Sean. Those shells are expensive.
What were the big booms that I also heard?

Went up on sunday... had a hellava time. Didn't do any shooting though, a little too expensive.
I seem to recall it being a little cheaper last year...
That quad fifty was awesome to watch( as was the Civil war cannon)
