Got any Turkey day disaster stories?

Normally this time of year I would be cold weather fishing somewhere with some tale of breaking down or other "Gary" disaster story. But not this year! This year my girlfriend invited me down to Marco Island for Turkey day at her fathers place. We got to the airport on Tues morn at 6 a.m., breezed through security, had a direct flight down to Ft Lauderdale and a very fast 80 mph drive across Alligator aisle and by 2 p.m. I was poolside on a beautiful bay with a drink in my hand and nothing to do but lounge around for 5 days. So this is where I will be for the next few days. Hope every one up in cold Mass has as much fun! time for another tropical drink!

No disasters here, my first turkey turned out great. I followed Crazy Joe's recipe that he posted and it came out great. Thanks again. Even my girlfriend 's dad (who can be let's say hard to please) complimented me. Have fun in Florida, looks like a nice place.

I did catch a few catfish on shrimp from the dock on friday, it was just fun to be in the warm weather!
