I like the idea, but getting into a crappie contest at the oxbow with crazy joe is like getting into an eating contest at a chinese buffet with me, you're all gonna lose.

Sorta count me in, but at this time of year,I don't do rain or high winds. And my fingers are very painful with temps in the 40s.

How about next Sunday.(weather premitting) Oxbow ,we lanch at 7-7:30am fish till 1 pm.5 bucks a person,split 1-2 cd biggest Crappies. Make it simple and fun?

at this point weather looks good for sunday. Could we be a little flexible on arrival time? I can only leave when I can see. I won't cry about my starting late I promise.

We set the clocks back this Saturday night, don't we? That should make for good visibilty by 6:30, no?

I have no problem slumming for crappie tips. I'm broke enough that 5 bucks is too big a wager for me (sad, I know) but I'm thinking I might fish with you guys, just not compete. And whover seems to be catching alot of fish will suddenly find me sneaking up alongside them to ask some "innocent questions." If anyone has an objection with me sitting out the competition but enjoying the company, let me know, ok? Thanks.

I'm In....haven't been out all summer....I'm going crazy and it will probably do me a world of good to get out.

Anyone got an open seat. I'll meet you at the launch ramp.

I can fit another member on my boat if the others are full. So your more than welcome to join Gotero and I aboard the Fisher.

I wish you had told me Toad.I have two people going with me.I sent some rules to Fisher 16 to post.We can't eat at the ramp,so it's a Coffee and donut affair in the am.Check for updates and river and weather conditoins.Thumbsup
