Please congratulate Mack/Gill Finn for winning the report of the week. This week was really difficult. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen you all have a shot at your fish and photo's for everyone to see in our new report of the week contest. Great job Mack/ Gill Finn nice fish and great pic. This report will be our new home page till 10/28/2006 on our site.
Mack snuck up behind me last night, Bash1 threw a landing net over my head, and dragged me kicking and screaming all the way to the oxbow, just to show me his new toys and that he can still out fish me whenever he wants.Fishing1 Fishing1 Fishing1
Then he had the huevos to make me take pictures.
First of all, the water level was up by at least 2 feet over yesterdayYikes .

The weather was great at first, but then the sun went away and a slight breeze kicked up. I don't know if it was me, us, or the change in water level, but the fish were not co-operating today at all. Mack dropped a nice fish early on,Smashhead but that was about it for action. There was a lot of surface activity, not baitfish jumping, but individual fish all over the marina area. After listening to me rattle on for a couple of hours about nothing in particular, Mack decided to shut me up.

This little puppy went 3.3(not the 3 1/2 he'll try to tell you)lbs. He was pretty beat up, too. If you look at the picture, you'll see that a chunk of the top part of his tail is missing, and his lower jaw was chewed up. Leave it to Mack MachineGun MachineGun to pick on the week and defenseless.
That was the only fish to make it to the boat today, but there's still time to rack up a few more before the rig goes into mothballs for the winter.
Maybe Sunday, at the oxbow tournament.
