Does anyone know how the trout are biting(or not), at Nashwannuck Pond in Easthampton? I have a friend who wants to try and catch a cutthroat there, which I don't even think are in there.Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nashawannuck doesn't contain cutthroats, to the best of my knowledge. Just put & take rainbows. (I live in Easthampton btw.) A friend of mine fished there yesterday and picked up a couple of nice size rainbows on small shiners. He told me he saw a guy there with a stringer of several. I can't confirm either way. Hope this is of a little help?

Hi Icehole
I have a friend that lives on Nashawanuck he is the president of the Easthampton Fish and Game I shall see him tomorrow and ask him how the fishing has been. I know that he fishes it from his canoe and normally has good luck. I will try to report back tomorrow evening.

I'm sorry I haven't posted back, I was not able to find where I posted originaly. Thanks to all of you for the info and the warm welcome! My friends and I had no luck there but it was being fished by at least 12 people so the spots for us to stand we hard to come by. Thanks again , and by the way I have to say this site is A-1!!!!
