should i be concerned about leaving my boat in the water this time of year?Notsure i wonder about the nights at or below freezing. its the first boat ive owned and am not sure about the water left in the motor.Question1

Seabass, I keep my boat in the water until Thanksgiving and thats half way up in VT....No problems in 5 years of doing it...
I used to leave my boats in the water under the water really started to freeze. Never had a problem. Just remember that when you do take it out take it out on an above freezing day so that the lower unit has a few hours to drain completely.

Some of the marinas leave them all winter and just put a bubbler underneath the boat so the ice doesn't freeze around the hull.
