By Popular Demand, It Looks Like Sunday, Nov. 26 At The Am-Vets In Chicopee.
1 P.M. Bears vs Patriots--MaAnglers vs Brews(and sodas). Bring Along Any And All Issues And Ideas For Next Year.

I've got three dates for everyone to think about concerning a get together to discuss what we'd like to see come about for this group for next year. Depending upon the number of interested people, I was thinking that we could go to the Chicopee Amvets on Montgomery St. The downstairs bar(they allow under 21 till 8 p.m.) has a large screen tv to watch a Patriots game while we discuss what type of functions to have and when to have them, the finer points of 4x tippets vs. 7 strand steel cable leaders, or how to set up a Lanier rig.

The dates I had in mind were:

Nov 26, the end of the Thanksgiving weekend. Da Bears are in Foxboro.
I don't know if that is one of the weeks when the NFL can change the time schedule, but if the Pats are still playing good ball, and da
Bears are also, it may well get changed to the Sunday night game.

Dec. 3, Detroit is at the Razor, Santa is on every corner, and my credit card is starting to smoke.

Dec. 10, the Pats are in Miami, there's still no solid ice on the ponds, and this is probably the last weekend I have before the Christmas Shopping onslaught.

Of course, any other dates and places are open, I just thought I'd start the idea kickin' around so we aren't scrambling around at the last minute trying to throw something together.

Maybe the admins. could start a temp thread for this (or maybe they could just tell me to shut my da** keyboard)

Guys,

I recieved my email from Brenda and Stephanies in Chicopee. The upstairs would be free, BUT no TV" no cable or TV up there".....We would have to pay a Bartender $10 per hour...The no TV/No watching Game doesn't sound good to me!!! I like Gils idea, and the bears /Pats game sounds great...The only thing that may not work is having to send Jay home at 8pm....We can't do that, its his site!

The only other Option I can think of is renting the back library room at Boston Billiards, which could become pretty pricey and then there the 21 thing again...

Tacoma congratulations on your wedding and good luck fishing. My daughter is getting married tonight and her and her husband will also be in the Bahamas next week. Don't know if he will be doing any fishing but he just took a Caribou hunt in the Artic Circle last month.
