I have a 16.5’ Sylvan aluminum boat. It has the standard thwart seats in it.

I am looking for a swivel seat with a back support that is also mounted on slides so that you can shift from one side of the boat to another while remaining seated.

I seem to remember seeing them for sale in the past but I’ll be darned if I can find a source for them now.

I can find plenty of nice swivel sets that would just bolt/screw into place but none on sliders.

Any information about a commercial source or a method of how I could fabricate them myself would be appreciated.:D

I think I have seen what you are talking about on either Cabelas or some other boating related web site. Try giving ole google a search and see if you come up with anything. Good Luck :)

And man do they suck:mad: . Metal on metal contact. If you were sitting on the seat and wanted to slide bak and forth it would take a Mac truck hitting you from the side to get them to move. Piss poor design. . Says to grease the slide.:p Yea and if you greae the slide yer gonna get grease on your pants, hands, and the rest of the seat eventually.

Bass Pro is getting a return real quick. Even the order was messed up. I ordered 2 slides and only one came.

Definitely would not recommend these slides.
