I know alot of times that its hard to keep our clothes scent free. What does everyone else use to block their scents? I have been using the Scent Bar soap for a week now and will continue to use it during hunting season. For my clothing I use the Original Scent Shield for Clothes and Boot made by Robinson Outdoors, and when I wash my clothing I use the Scent-A-Way Laundry Detergent from Hunters Specialities.

For washing my clothes in the washer machine I usually run the washer machine two cycles without my hunting clothes add a little Scent-A-Way detergent. After the two cycles I add the clothing and some of the detergent. That way any excess detergent from the regular wash is wash out before my hunting clothes goes into the wash.

Just wondering what everyone else does.

we use scent killer soap and try to pay attention to the wind.

I use scent shield detergent and scent free soap. But I don't "purge" the washing machine. As for playing the wind.....most days the areas I hunt have swirling winds which are not really "readable". The deer also come into my area from many directions so playing the wind isn't really a great option. I just hope for the best, shotgun season you can back off and play the wind in my area a bit easier.

Sounds like a troublesome routine to go through. Just spray your clothes with apple cider. Keep a small spray bottle on your person when out in the field and apply at any time to freshen the apple smell.

I agree Buffermop......I make an efforrt to "reduce" odor, but I don't believe there is any way to eliminate it and I don't buy into the Scent SHield cost you and arm and a leg clothing......Hunt into the wind on the stalk and get up out of the scent currents when in stand.
