While visiting the Sportsman show this past weekend I stumbled across a couple of Ct River Striper Tournaments that will be up in coming this season. The first one is sponsored by Yankee Outdoors 88 Main Street, Enfield, Ct their website is www.Yankeeoutdoors.com (http://www.Yankeeoutdoors.com). I just visited their site today and its pretty impressive.

The second one is the Dime Bank Thames River Striped Bass Tournament.
Runs May 19 thur May 20 2006. Registration forms can be obtained going to www.thamesriverstripedbass.com (http://www.thamesriverstripedbass.com).

That yankee tournament is cool, I took second place in it last year with a 42incher(website results are wrong), got some good money, Marc told me they should certainly have 50 gusy in it last year. For 20 bucks you cant go wrong.

Didnt sign up for that Dime Bank tournament last year, but I do know they had really tough conditions for it last year. Will give it a shot this year.

Nice fish by the way, I saw your picture on their site. I like the way that they are running their tournament. Lets hope for warmer days, and a nice gradual warm up to spring.
