Just wanted to say thanks for all the votes this week for this honor of report of the Week. There were some really great reports that I thought about. But just wanted to say thanks again everyone.
Lets start this report off right. Off the bat not even out of the cove as Ryan was stripping back the core a fish hit and was lost at the boat. Look really nice around the twenty inch mark if not bigger.

We moved along and found some bait, and began trolling the area. After the second pass the core gets hit again. But after some teaching lessons Ryan has this fish stuck and the first of many lakers comes over the rails of the Fisher.

We taped this fish out at twenty four inches Ryan PB laker, and the biggest yet in the fisher. Ryan decided he wanted to keep this one for the grill so we placed in the livewell.
Reset the pattern and a short time later the rigger gets slammed. After a short but decent battle I land my first of many lakers.

We reset and stay in the general area and after the second pass I go thru a nice bunch of bait and the core goes off again. Ryan up again and a short time later another nice laker comes over the rails of the Fisher.

My wife wanted to check out other parts of quabbin to enjoy the scenery so we decided to head north. The old saying never leave biting fish to find others well we did it. After a pit stop back at the launch we headed north and we saw some more activity and a short time later the core gets hit hard and I take the rod and fight the fish to the boat.

I made the suggestion to run just off the bank on the West side and march north to see if we could see the eagles, and go over the markers I set on my GPS on my last outing at Quabbin, after running all the way down we didn't see any Eagles nor did we catch any fish. It was around 4:00 p.m. and we decided to run back South to the same area that we had had our success earlier.
After one pass we get the final fish of the day, and leave them biting.

All the fish were successfully released except one for the grill, and we went five for six. Looks like this will be it from Quabbin for me this year. Hopefully next year will be just as successfull.
