Guys,
It appears that this person who goes under the name of D-Roc on ctfisherman is not buckmanjr. I apologize Buckmanjr for jumping to conclusions like the rest of us did here. I looked at the email of "d-roc" on ctfisherman and it matched up under a user with the account name swaterboy2000 on here. Also his ip adress is 71.192.171.1**(swaterboy) 71.124.197.1** (bucks) Clearly not the same. Buck you are owed a much sincere apology from all of us on here. Sorry man

While Jeff took the high road I can not be so charitable. While I appreciate the apology I think the damage has been done. This site does not need another black eye. Jr. is young and has made a few mistakes to learn from ,but you can't use that excuse. I will not tolerate anyone ripping my son on another site, period. Jeffs passion for the outdoors and this site is refreshing and I do not want to see it stiffled. Thanks Jay and Fisher for handling this the way you did.

Your father is correct Buckmanjr. the damage has been done! Hopefully we all can chalk this up to a lesson learned! Its hard to find many young guys like you who have a passion for fishing and hunting as you do! We need more young guys like you and less of the guys out there shooting up there schools and doing drugs, its refreshing to know there are still guys like you! Please accept my personal apology for assuming what Arlow posted was factual!

Seems to me like Arlow has made an attempt to air out some "dirty laundry" on another fishing forum. Arlow, don't you ever make sure you have your facts straight before attempting to completely ruin someones reputation, and a kid at that. Whether you have apologized or not, this kind of crap is absurd, who the hell do you think you are, attacking a 15 year old kid who happens to have some excellent and informative posts. BuckmanJr happens to be a true outdoorsman and a loyal member of the site who puts alot into it. I honestly am kind of pissed
that some people initially believed Arlow's BS post. It is a humbling experience when false, uneducated accusations are set forth and you are proved wrong and look like a complete asshole. I just hope it makes you a better person in the end and hope you have learned from this. I would personally appreciate you not talking smack about MAanglers or its members on other sites. I don't like when I tell someone I am from MAanglers and they frown upon it...Thanks

Buckman and Sledneck,

I apologised publicly and admitted I was wrong on this site and on CTfisherman. I don't know what else you want. Buckmanjr accepted my apology and that is what matters to me. If you want to drag this out and keep a hair across your ass it is up to you. I guess you have never been wrong either?

I saw the post over there, thought the avatar looked like him, and the signature promoting MaAnglers, and put two and two together. Unfortunately I was not correct. I should have looked closer and searched D-Rocs other posts. I screwed up. Obviously others saw the same similarity too.

Does this site have a black eye? Probably so. When you have goofballs posting 2 1/2 pound bass calling them 6 pounders, and a bunch of our guys banned from another site for various reasons. Jr was one of those banned at NEF and from what I saw rightfully so. I even PM'd him to calm down but he didn't listen. So don't preach to me about reputations. Reputations are self created. Mistakes, when corrected, dont affect them.

No hair across our asses. As you said, Jr accepted your apology and thats good enough for us. This was just something I neede to say.

I most certainly have been wrong before, but I do not make accusations without being sure of what I am saying. I am just concerned with a gentleman's reputation, he certainly could never go on CTfisherman now without the preconception people will have of him being a punk ass kid, which is wrong.

That whole thing with NEF was a mistake on Jr's and others behalves, but that is in the past as should this incident. By no means should any of that have happened. I personally have met many of the NEF members and actually know more of them than I do Maanglers, and they are a great group of guys, just a different crowd with a misinterpretation. I know that you know many of them as well.

As for goof balls calling 2 1/2 lb bass 6 lbrs, I don't know what you are talking about as I am not a freshwater bass fisherman and don't know a thing about it, and don't keep up on the postings in those areas.

My main point is that even IF you were right in your accusations, what good does that do for this site and why would you feel the need to do something like that?

I will ask that BuckmanJr delete all of these posts and threads.

I though about suggesting the same thing but didn't want to seem like I was trying to hide my mistake and decided it was better I took my "medicine" for messing up.

As for why I would bring it up. If it I had happened to be correct there would have been a problem that needed to be corrected. As it stands now, there are now two of us that have learned a little recently.

This is not over by any means, and a decision will be made on what to do concerning this issue.
