Been Scouting pretty heavh and had my spot set up for this morning. In the woods be 4:30am and all set up. Birds started gobblin at light and the woods just lit up with hens and gobblers. Called this guy up from the bottom and had him come along the fields edge but simultaneously a hen walked within four yds of me directly up to him out of range. Soon as line of sight was gone i stalked up to the field edge 40yds and then up to the knoll in the field and peaked up saw a fan readied myself of the shot and dropped him the ol' Mossberg. Bird Weight 17.5lbs Had an Eight Inch Beard and 1" spurs on one side and 3/4" on the other. Bird was Shot in Franklin County and checked at R+R in Belchertown issued MA Tag #1605.
