I understand that some of you are married ,and your wives would not want you spending time with another woman. Weather she is very married or not. When you are asking for angling partners would you please post the letter NW somewhere in the post so I will not respond. Thank you. Then I will not get my hopes up.Thanks1

My kayak would be a very tight fit for 2 people and what I do with Aaron so I can take him fishing is I go out for 1 hour after he goes out for an hour. Not realy fishing together. But I am getting him out. You don.t have a canoe or kayak do you? I would like to get on the other lake at the oxbow but I am hesitant going someplace I have never been alone. I think it has something to do with being female.

I have a smaller boat with a 9.9hp motor on it (14' Starcraft). It can go alot of places! We will match up soon. I have a wedding this weekend but maybe next week after work? I get out at 3pm if there is no overtime...I can bring the boat up that way or we can meet at sunderland and go out on the river!

Grinning1 Notsure I don't know why you young ladies don't get your old men out with you and teach them the pleasure of fishing and the outdoors in general. Us gentlenem always are trying to get the better half out and share the experience with us. Remember the family that fishes together stays together. The wife and I have been fishing partners for43 years and married for 41 so it works""Thumbsup Fishing1

I am married as well, I try to take my wife out every chance we get. I remember my first time taking her fishing. It was a beautiful day and we had been in Florida visiting my family. It was her first time meeting my father side so I wanted to introduce her to my kinda of Surf Fishing. Took her over to the intercoastal and asked her to wade around with me at first she was a little hesistant. But she finally decided to join me while I used the cast net and picked up finger mullet to the smoker sized mullet. She was like what are you gonna use those big fish for? Thumbsup I said, "wait and you'll see". A quick stop back at the tackle shop for some shark rigs and some strong leader material. Back at the beach the water was like glass and. Set two rods out in the sand spikes within fifteen minutes the rod falls over and begins getting dragged thru the sand. I run over let the fish take some more line after trying to blow the sand out of the reel, and hand her the rod. I said are you ready? She replied yes I said set that hook as hard as you can and hold on. She had a very nervous look on her face, she set the hook and a beautiful six foot tarpon tail walked approximately 50 on the water. The look on her face was speachless, she says,"what the hell is it". Laughing1 Laughing1 Laughing1 I replied big tarpon I new that the odds of landing this fish weren't in our favor, and soon the fish broke off. After that day she has been hooked to fishing and spending some quality time on the water. I can say that I am one of the lucky ones, and it seems we have a couple of others on the board who are as lucky as me. Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup

But that won't stop me from taking one of you ladies out fishing with me, anytime, any place, any day. I am a big striper fan in the spring if you've never tied onto one I'll try to get you one before the end of the run. Just ask or pm me and we can work out arrangements. I am not gonna yell and kick and scream if you loose a big fish its all about having a good time. I've lost my share of big fish so to me it comes naturally.

Fisher your wife should be told you are gold. I would love to go fishing with any of you most any time. My husband who I love dearly only likes ocean fishing. I have never been ocean fishing. He would go with the guys he lobsters with after setting out traps and after they hauled the traps. I gather the thought of a big bass after catching a tuna is too tame for him. I find it exciting to catch pan fish. But the time I was catching Northarn Pike was memorable to this day 4 years ago.
Bass17 pm me and we will go at your convienience we can take turns in my kayak unless I get my canoe water ready.
