a lot might depend on what you're looking for:

Smallies: YoteThumbsup
Panfish: Crazy JoeThumbsup
Quabbin: KnotreelyThumbsup
Pike: Fisher 16 seems to hold the greatest interest Thumbsup

There are several salt water anglers on the board, some who like stripers in the Ct. river, and I forgot who was posting about walleyes back at the beginning of this site.

But if you just want to go out for a relaxing time on the water,Fishing1 I suppose just about anyone would do.

this year so I would have to say just about anyone on this forum. Tongue1 Haven't met a bad apple yet from the folks on this forum.What1 We have a great group of guys.Beerchug

I would also have to add that for the most part, fishermen & women are a good bunch of folks. There are black sheep in every group but real anglers, and hunters seem to have more respect for the enviornment, and that feeds into respect for their fellow man.

Since it's a choice being asked for here I would have to pick Crazy Joe for a partner. His quest for pan fish is really what got most of us into fishing in the 1st place. I also think I'm prettierThumbsup than Crazy so he would make me look Yikes good sitting in the same boat as him.Laughing1 Laughing1

I want to give lessons....Uh I mean go fishing with Yote but I probably never will on the river as I only get out a couple of times a month and he gets out like 5 times a week ( I am so jealous), If I showed him where the hawgs were, All we would see is 4+ lb fish pictures on this site from him and not me! But I would like to try that huge frog for bass thing he does!

I think in my own opinion it doesnt matter who fishes with who as far as partners go. Everyone has their specialty of fishing on this site and its great. Plenty of knowledge is available to help those out.

I have been out with Joe (a few times), Gil and Jay. Had a good time every time out wether the fish were co-operating or not. Fished with everyone who came to the 2 get togethers and enjoyed myself. can't wait for the hard water so we can spend the day as a group and not be spread all over the water. Also I think the idea of getting a kids derby going for ice fishing would be great. I really enjoy watching the kids pull in a fish.

I just recently found out about this web site and that was thanks to Yote (thanks Yote) and since he is the only person that I know, he is the guy that I would fish with from MAanglers.com. However I have met many fishermen (and women) who are very interesting and good gishing partners.
