General Rules
1. Participants must be signed up before the registration closes Dec. 16
2. All Participants will be able to print a card after the sign up is closed.
3. If you have not signed up, do not print a card.
4. Participants must catch the fish in MA public waters.
5. The contest will end March 15th (subject to ice conditions).
6. All fish must be caught through the ice!!!
7. Pictures can not be taken in a ice shanty. You must be able to see ice in the picture.
8. All photos are to be taken on the ice, primarily to promote catch and release. A picture of the person, on the ice with the fish, then a picture of the fish on the ice with the card and ruler. We need to be able to read the numbers on the ruler and the picture has to be of the whole fish with the ruler.
9. No "soft" rulers (fabric or plastic). Yardsticks, carpenter's tape measure, fish board rulers - all ACCEPTABLE. Self portraits are fine - as long as we can see some ice!
10 All fish entered shall be caught on PUBLIC waters.<o:p></o:p>
**. How to enter a fish
To enter a fish, post a picture in the Thread for that particular species.
If you don't know how to post a picture, there is always help available from a site moderator.
Example: If you enter a LG Bass, enter it in the LG Bass Category.
To post a valid picture entry, take a picture of you with the fish, then a picture of the fish next to a Valid Ruler, with the card you printed. The point of the card is so that no one uses an old picture.
A fish entry will be determined by length, not weight.
