To reduce time waiting in line, hunters who want to purchase permits for Zones 10, 11, 13 and 14 may want to consider making their purchases later in the week. Historically, Zone 10 permits have been available for weeks after over-the-counter sales begin, and Zones 11, 13 and 14 have not reached their quota.
Hunters may purchase 1 permit/zone/day until quotas are reached. To purchase a permit, hunters must present their original 2006 hunting or sporting license and the $5.00 fee. Duplicate certificates and/or photocopies of a license will not be accepted. A person may take other hunters' original license(s) and purchase permits for them.
