To add a fishing picture into your post simply click on the insert image button. From there you will see a box with a url. You will need to have your image online so you can sign up in the MAanglers.com photo gallery and then upload your pictures. Once your pictures are uploaded in the gallery simply right click on the picture that you want to put in your post and click properties. From there just copy the url and your done. You can also add pictures to your posts by clicking on the paper clip attachment button. From there just select either an attachment from your computer or a url. Pictures will have to be smaller than 39.1 kb this way.

picture problem, i've checked my sony and got the picture size from mg to kb (140), lowest i can set it. i've made a gallery also. if i try to attach the message is size is to big, here you need 39 kb. the lowest on the sony is for e-mails. when on the highest settings 4m i could always send attachments, except here. i've tried the copying the url but i'm having the same problem as dana c, no picture just the url i typed shows when i preview it. any help would be great, got some pictures i would like to share.

Knot I've been having some difficulty lately as well. So I went to this site which is free www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) and uploaded pictures there. Once done right click your mouse and go to properties Copy the properties of the photo and go into the either go into the photo page of maanglers or the mountain scenery on the tool bar above click that and paste the properties in the link. Make sure you only have one http:// if not it will show up as red X. Hope this helps.

Posting Pictures on Maanglers.com <HR style="COLOR: #000000" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I have read through several threads lately that some of the members are having a difficult time with posting pictures, or just don't know how to do it.
Well I am here to help you. If you follow my simple instructions you should be off and running and hopefully have no more difficulties.
HOW TO POST A PIC ON THE Maanglers.com FORUM:
1. Get your picture on your computer in the .jpg form.
2. Go to a site like, http://www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com/) or Maanglers.com Photogallery
3. Sign up or whatever you have to do and follow their or Maanglers.com instructions on how to post the picture on their, Maanglers.com.
4. Once you get it on their or Maanglers.com, when looking at the picture uploaded on their or Maanglers.com site...right click the picture itself...click properties and highlight and copy the URL that is there...
5. When in the Maanglers.com forum while creating a new thread, click the INSERT IMAGE http://images.zeroforum.com/new/1/img.gif icon under located in the tool bar.
6. You will see a empty box that says "Please Enter The URL OF YOUR IMAGE" above the post paste the URL where it say http://. (http://./) Or if you photo is already on a website copy and paste your photo URL and type this in your post past your URL inbetween . Follow seven.
7. There should be NO SPACES in between the URL and the brackets. For example {img}URL-HERE{/img}
(I had to use the wrong brackets to fool the system, if I would have used the real brackets [] a red x would have popped up, these brackets are the right ones [] .)
An additional tip on sizing your pics:
Nobody enjoys scrolling from left to right to see a picture. Therefore, to reduce the dimensions you'll need to go into a graphics program and adjust the size before you save it on the host server. Sometimes this can be done when saving the file and selecting the resolution you want to save it (640X480 is a good size). If the file size is too large for the host server, save the file in the JPEG format. If that doesn't work, you can try cropping the picture to reduce its size, which in turn should decrease the file size. Gill Finn offered me this site today to give a try if anyone wants to resize their pic's for reports. http://www.imageresizer.com/
The instructions for posting sound much more complex than they really are, and it takes longer to read through them than to post a pic. http://floridasportsman.com/art/biglaugh.gif
And if you need any assistance, just ask one of the moderators or me. Hope this helps clear up any questions or issue's.
