My Boat has been down since last Dec ( too long of a story) but I am heading up today to see if I can get her alive again! My mechanic bolted on a freshly rebuilt 225 promax yesterday!, new batteries, a few new gauges and gotta power wash the boat and hopefully be starting the long process of break in! I can't wait to go 100 again!!!!

Good luck Gary... I remember the breaking in days, it would seem you could have more fun walking on hot coals barefoot, 500 rpms, 1,000 rpms, 1500 rpms But soon 6,000 rpms and it will all be worth it!!!

It Runs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fired it up, half a click and she was running! let it sit on the trailer for a half hour at 2k rpm, now the break in begins. I run it mostly in Vt and NH in the fall but sometimes at the oxbow or Bartons. It will take like forever to break it to be able to drive 7000 rpm, I can't wait! Got to put 10 hours before I get it there, 2 hours at 2k,3k,4k, 5,k and 6k on the rpm gauge. but at least at 5k I am at 75 mph and at 6k about 84, imagine that for 2 hours straight, boy will that be alot of gas!

oh and by the way, any you of you guys want a thrill ride in the cold, let me know. Especially when I get in the 6k range on my tack, thats like going from brunelles to hatfield in like 9 minutes at 85!
