Tacoma nailed it. Pretty weird looking they are still trying to figure out what caused this with this deer. Deer was hit by a truck out in Alabama.

at least that is what a goat would look like if it foundered and no one cut his hooves for a couple of months. It happens when they run a high fever. After that the hooves grow very fast and his feet would ache so he would avoid walking at least for a while. Could be. But what an unusual photo.
