With all the money the government is handing out to bail out the banksters and to give bonuses to the crooks that bankrupted this country and the money they want for health care that is proposed its a shame they can't take care of the people who gave their all on September 11th.

I don't doubt for a second that the area was badly contaminated and that many of the people at the site will, of have become ill because of it, but how would the aid be given and to whom, and from whom? Could get very complicated. Thousands of people responded from all over the country. That being said, I do believe that we should stop sending aid to foreign countries, to help folks that mostly hate the U.S.A. anyway, and take care of our own people. Except for a few countries, we don't have very many real friends.
