Shrooming 10/4

Headed out this evening for a foray and finally got
on the shrooms. These bad boys will be headed for
market in the morning. The tree pictured bellow
produced almost 8 pounds alone. It was ringed on
both sides with these fresh Hen of the Woods.

If any one in the greater Greenfield area sees shrooms
like these at the base of or on a oak tree or stump, please PM me.

Everyone should be doing well with shrooms this fall considering I am not picking. I'm going fishing in an hour. High temp of 77 degrees today. Capt. I know that tree. Look over the bank 100 yards south of that tree west of the path.

I don't know very much about mushrooms, but I got a small bunch of Hickory nuts this weekend. Do any of you bother with them? I know that they are a lot of work to eat........but they are gooooood. Smile1 Eating them is like watching grass grow.......takes a loooong time. Eyeball Roller
