Arrival of a new angler...

Well, my wife called me on Friday around noon from her doctor's appointment and said they wanted to admit her and induce labor. We really wanted to shy away from drugs so they broker her water at 4pm. Nothing was happeneing by 8pm and then by 8:30 she was having major contractions. By midnight it was time to start pushing and at 1:15 my new angling buddy came into the world! We had a beautiful baby girl, Evalyn June Carano, 8 lbs even, 20.5" long. Everyone is in perfect health and I might be just a LITTLE biased, but I'm pretty sure she's the most beautiful child ever born! (... at least she is in my eyes, and that's all that matters, right?!?)

And before anyone asks... No, this does not mean my fishing days at the Quabbin are done for the year... I hope anyways... maybe just a little less frequently than I've been going this sumemr!!! Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to take my daughter out in our boat on the Quabbin and another generation can see how beautiful it is out there.
