Eric, Ya I do hunt the conservation land it's nice because the closest one is 3 min from my house, so i can be in my stand 15min after i get home from work.

Fly Fisher, Those st axis arrows do look pretty sweet, after the season I might have to look into them and see the difference between the two.

You ever try Thayer Brook? A friend lives a few hundred yards from it and I was going to check it out. I got the permit a few months ago.

Do you see alot of deer, or alot of hikers?

Haven't tried Thayer Brook, but I have seen deer only a few hikers and a lot of quads and dirt bikes even though they are not supposed to be there.

Congrats on the new bow Thumbsup

Eric and Busch, what ever you do DO NOT leave your stands in the woods. Myself and puddlejumper had a few stands stolen from a couple of those areas. And yes, they were locked and chained. So, make sure you have a climber that you can take with you every night or else you'll be a sorry man Swear1

re: stolen stands

I've given thought to placing a "dummy" cam in a conspicuous location near the stand, with another real cam trained on the stand itself, but in hard to see & hard to reach location.
