Ice Fish Champlain

Anyone ever go up to ice fish lake Champlain in the winter? My uncle is looking into taking me up there this winter and they have shacks you can rent and they provide everything. Any feedback apreciated thanks

i would be interested if there was a few that wanted to do a weekend there or any of the other tourneys, winni, etc.

My brother in law goes up for 3 days in February every year. They stay in a motel instead of a shanty. It's a BIG lake and I wouldn't know where to begin fishing it.

I guess the deal is that this person charges 50 a night per shanty and some shantys can sleep up to 5 etc. He puts you right on the fish and everything. I guess there are even roads out on the ice where you can see logging trucks and everythign going by. Its pretty neat stuff.

Jay, last year they cancelled tournaments because the lake never froze! Thats how bad ice fishing was last year. I hope we have a very long, cold winter.
