Found a great deer run the other day!!!Beerchug So I decided to put my camera out at the mouth of it to see if I could get some pictures!!! I was successful, in 5 days I had 29 pictures, mostly of the same deer.

Here is the run!!!!Yikes

It is the cheapest one you can buy!!! And it takes better pictures than some of the digitals I have seen! It is made by Stealth Cam and is a simple 35mm camera in a weather proof housing. They are on sale this week at dicks for $30...I have used it in winter and left it out for a month and it works awesome!

A trick I have learned is make sure to tie it to a tree that is angled toward the run...if you face it straight at the run you will get butt shots as stuff passes by because the camera has a slower reaction time than the $400 ones. Just a trick I have learned over the years to provide yourself with better pictures.

Good Luck

That trick you know of is true. It took me a couple of rolls of film before I figured mine out. I have two of the same camera those pic's came out nice.

Probably won't get ahold of me Yote...We are working around the clock trying to rerail the freight cars that derailed in West Deerfield. I get a few hours of work and then back to sleep!

Nice pics tacoma! Looks like you have a nice spot there. I have not put mine out yet. Its tough with taking care of the little ones. Hard to find time to get in the woods. Good tip on angleing torwards the run with the cheaper cameras. I make my own with custom sensors that trigger in about a second with 35 mm and 2 seconds with a digital.

Nice Arlow...sounds like you are a regular mechanic with these cameras!

I agree knot...lets all clean up this year with the deer and we will have plenty of venison to go with our beer and ice fishing this winter!!!!!!

Between Arlow, Yote, Fisher, buckman, sledneck and myself...we should have some full freezers this year.........everyone to there deer stands!!!!

Although not on a trail camera. I was fishing LIS last year and thought I was seeing things but I wasn't. Took this pic in some sloppy conditions.
