Anyone else having

problems on occasion lately with the site being really, really slow or not being able to log on? Has happened to me a few of times over the last two weeks.

I've noticed on a couple of occasions when clicking on a thread that it was taking a looooooong time to load. I just stop the loading process and reclick the thread, and so far it's been loading fine. No problems with getting onto the site, though.

The last couple of weeks it has been hit or miss with my being able to get in. Last night I couldn't get in for three hours with repeated attempts....very frustrating. Hey Jay....if you need some cash for a better server let us know.

Toad...I looked into the problem and the system seems to be having a rough time figuring out who you really are...JihadJoe? or Toad? Plus communicating through the computer in second and third person text can really confuse this basic system and cause it to slow down to process your political rants.

Just joking...it gets slow from time to time...nothing we can really do about it. Hope all is well!

Site could be having problems due to the amount of information on the site. Volume slows things down, especially if the capcity to hold information is limited.

Just my opinion and not meant to be negative.

It is no fdifferent when a server (MSNBC or CNN) gets clogged when there is a big news story and everyone is trying to hit their web page all at once.

But in this case probably storage issues.
