nope, too rough on Saturday to hit the salt, the wind is supposed to howl and looks like the swells will be in town. I will probably get out Sunday, but not for stripers.

Sled I would like to go but I have to work on Friday night, then a birthday party on Saturday at 1:00 pm. What time do you plan on being at the Swift? I'll have to check to see if I could squeeze it in but if I can't I let ya know. Its around a thirty to forty minute drive for me but if the fish are cooperating I'd miss the birthday party and that wouldn't be good.

If you guys are going in the afternoon I'm not gonna be able to make it. But I agree with Buckmanjr it will probably be better later instead of early morning due to the cooler air we have been having. The bugs won't be moving really early until it warms up. I don't know about down at your end of the state but the black nats are out like crazy out here. I think the warming of the day with some of the rain showers we have been having has added some effect.

not too concerned about the temp and early morning and evening aren't a big deal w/ BWO. They actually emerge in the dead of winter as well, so I am not too concerned about cold temps. Its supposed to be acloudy day, so I don't really think there will be a whole lot of hatches going on, but if they have been feeding on them, they'll take if there isn't a hatch.

I am heading to the swift in a little while....need to tie a few flies and do a couple errands. I drive a black Toyota 4Runner and I wear a green FrogHair baseball cap, so if you are fishing the Swift today, be sure to say hi...my name is Travis by the way, see ya.
