Take it easy for a few days and put ice on your back every few hours. Is it just your back or do you have pain in your arms and legs??? Have you tried a chiropractor??? The chiropractor worked for me for about 5 years, then I had to go in for back surgery in April of 05, you don't want to have to do that, So REST and when you sleep, only sleep on your back, and put a pillow under your knees to take pressure off your lower back!
Hope it feels better, back pain sucks......

I bulged two disks a couple of years ago and I went to a chiropractor he helped a lot. Now I am ok without going to him if I am careful and stretch the muscles before I get up every day. I lay on my back knees bent and together and twist my knees first to the right then to the left about ten times loosens things up. I realy hope it is just muscle pain you are having. Get well soon and see a doctor.

Gus, I have read in some of your previous posts that the Mrs. is a religious woman, you ever think about using the power of the lord in your healing? I saw you've had multiple surgeries. Just a thought, it may help my friend.

whooaaa... go easy there gus. remember what we have learned. although it may be tuff we at times should turn the other cheek. i had to do so in one of my early posts and im glad i did becasue it makes me a better person. im glad your back is doing better. i find that moist heat helps mine when my back goes out and then ice and then repeat..
stay away from the alcohol. only a temporary fix and will only worsens the problem. you may want to stay away from the fixing of flats... join AAA you can get a good discount from the AARP which i belong too.. good luck with that back now!!

ps to GUS.... stay off those ladders when cleaning leaves this fall... that gutter helmut works well and keeps me from throwing out my back or even worst taking a bad fall of a latter.

Hey Gus, not sure what I may have said to offend you, if I did, didn't mean it. It may have been that boy of mine, he's a little bit of a jokester and was using my name for a while... Sorry if he has.
How about them Pats huh Gus, too bad about Branch, I think Patten will pick them up this year though. He was quiet this year, but with Branch and Brown gown I think Patten will really play a bigger roll in the offense. What do you think?

Troy Brown is still a Patriot and in all likelyhood is Brady's go to guy as a reciever, at least untill the rookie gets healthy.
David Patten was traded 2 years ago and is currently with the Redskins.

Gus,
Go to the local drug store and pick up a couple of these.

They are great and last about 8 hours. As a bonus I use them on really cold days on the deer stand to keep warm. Place them right over your kidneys and they work magic.
Hope you feel better!
