Dave and Ben Roberts topped the 7 boat field at the Oxbow on Saturday. Muddy water kept most of the weights down, but Dave and Big Ben brought 15.92LBS to the scales. Great job guys. Second place went to Art Quenneville and Ron Walhoud with 6 smallies for 14.02LBS. Third place was Dan Demers and Paul Figueiredo with 6 smallies for 10.04 lbs. Lunker Largemouth was 3.12LBS and went to the team of Eric Nodwell and Nick Domina. Todd and I managed to break into the standings landing a 3.86LB Smallmouth for lunker of the day.
I want to thank all of the CT River Shootout sponsors for the donations to our raffle. Lunkerusa.com, The Print Shop, KM digital Productions (ct river maps) and Granby bait and tackle. Everyone won something.
Thank you to everyone that showed up. Our next tournament is July 18th at Bartons cove. Remember everyone is welcome to fish. There are three tournaments left and if you fish all the rest you can still qualify for the TOC.
Dave.

when the boys of Maanglers want to put up 135 bucks a piece, then you can compare it!

No way does it compare I'm sure there were over $250K in Rigs and Gear within that small group of Elite river anglers. I was at plunder bay on Lake Champlain dropping $200 just for an entry fee. never mind the 120 hotle and the 250 in gas.

135 for each person or per boat? How many places does it pay out all 7? Maybe someday I will have some extra cash to waste on a tournament, wait nevermind I like to fish for fun!!Beerchug

Yes you have to have boat liability insurance. Tournaments are a 6 fish limit so you would need a partner. If you go to lunkerusa.com There is a list of rules and our schedule. Our next tournament is this Saturday the 18th from 6-2 at bartons cove. If you have any questions feel free to call me 413-626-8286.
Thanks for the interest
Dave
