We just got our new T-Man Casting Tubes on the website today!!
Just in time for a great fall striper bite... ;)
Thanks to all of you who have been asking about these new Tube products... I hope you have great luck with them this fall!!
Here's some info and a picture....
The tubes have a nice large 12" profile and weighs 1.6 ounces. The tube cast like a dream.
What I have been striving for is versatility in the action and versitle they are! Also they are tough as hell and will hold-up to any toothy critters.
1)This tube can be ripped or twitch along the surface by reeling fast and keeping the rod tip high.
2)It also has a unique action when reeled at a steady quick retrieve... the tube stays just under the surface and spins so that it occationally breaks the surface and makes a nice wake.
3)By casting the tube and letting it sink a bit, it's very easy to put a nice walking/darting action on the tube by twitching the rod tip or snapping the slack line.
4)A very slow retrieve will get you some of the classic tube & worm action and when tipped with some bait. Good for those casting in the river currents, blind casting early or from shore around structure.
