Honeybear and I went on vacation last week. Camped at a campground in Hampton, NH. Didn't have enough room to bring the fishing poles. Drove to Plum Island one day - went to Kittery Trading Post another day. While on Plum Island HoneyBear took these pictures. They are from Plum Island looking at the mouth of the Merrimac River. Met some folks doing some surfcasting, they said they didn't get much that day - said there were Harbor Seals just outside of the sandbar - where the Merrimac dumps into the Atlantic Ocean. We are going back to Gloucester and Rockport area later on in September will be bringing the poles this time!!

I was up there last Saturday through Monday. I stayed on the boardwalk. I went out onto those rocks by the campground and saw a couple schoolies being caught. The boats were all stacked up in there with the fish.

Nice pictures, looks like a nice calm day to be out enjoying the sunshine. Last time I was down there I saw a harbor seal as well, pretty neat and a first for me. I seen them in the Ct. River but not the ocean.
