So whos ready, i cant wait. Going for my first bird with a bow. Will be filming all hunts for passthruoutdoors.. which showcases newengland bowhunting. Cant wait. Good luck to you guys, monday morning should be fun. Just dont know which birds to go after....

Hopefully the birds will show in my regular spots....this game of hide & seek suxs. If not I am going to sit in th eparking lot at work with the truck running.....thump.....

I met shane this weekend. Great guy. We were at the pig roast. Good times. Couldnt hang out becuase i had to make it to the red sox game...darn.... But looking forward to filming and joining the passthru crew good luck bill

Good luck with the bow on those birds, Last year we killed but didn't get them, one walked away never to be found and the second flew away never to be found. We felt horrible about it and won't shoot normal broadheads at them any longer. Passthru's did not work on them, the arrow just blew through them and was laying on the ground covered in feathers just on the other side of the birds. Don't want to spend the money on the "giulitine heads". I need to get those broadheads with a big washer on them so it stays in the bird. Quite the rush to draw the bow when they are staring at you from 10 yards though!

yeah the kill zone is so small on turkeys if you dont hit them just right they fly. Thats to bad. Best bet is to shoot big expandable BH. i am using the rage 2 and lowering my draw wieght so i dont blow thru them. Hopfully ill get a nice clean kill. But stuff happens. Ill def keep you guys posted. And good luck to you this opener captain.Thumbsup

Seen guys using large expandables, shooting right up the poop pipe out the chest, bird just flapped and died. Season's a few days away, and I can't wait.
