I was cleaning my work area tonight and I came across my old shark tooth collection. The smaller tooth in the pic came from a estimated 21 foot great white, the big tooth, well that would be like a 80 foot shark, or bigger???? The shark is cosidered extinct and was called a Megaladon, but some say it may still exist, in 1998 a blue whale washed up on a Hawiaan island that had a bite mark in it that was nearly 7 feet wide, some said it was mulitple bites, but others said it was to clean cut to have been bitten several times... a shark with teeth like that bring a whole new meaning to the phrase:

Your gonna need a bigger boat!!!

When scientists took the teeth and tried to figure out the size of the mouth, they came up with this!!

Imagine looking behind you and seeing this..

That tooth is worth some cash. Where did you get if from? I heard in the news the other day that a girl found one washed up along the east coast somewhere and someone offered her around $300.00 dollars.

I have 4 or 5 of them, when my friend went to Coastal Carolina College, I spent so time down during his 4 years. If you go to the beach after a big storm , they are always washing up. The Carolinas are you best bet for finding these, you bring rakes and sift through the sand. Thats the biggest by far the others are much smaller...Yes they are worth good money!

What line test would you use to bring that sucker in. Park a 250 ton crane on the beach and get some floating wire line...???????? And alot of beer!!!!!!!!!!

Sean and I have hundreds of shark teeth but all small ones that we've found in the shoreline on Florida. When I was alot smaller I got pushed by a older guy when we both stumbled across a gold spanish coin from one of the many spanish gallions that wrecked just offshore in Vero Beach. Mean old man if he tried that now a days he would have been in for it.
