Spent 9 days on the shore line of n,c.We got to the houes we rented at 4 pm saturday night by 9 pm that night i found 3 fishing piers.5 A.M sunday i was at pier 1 with some pretty heavy fishing gear .they set me up with the rigs every one was useing 3 oz sinker double hook . i fished with this set up 3 days in a row(what a joke) the set up was heavier than the fish caught.So i went out and bought a new rod and real to match the fish i was catching while at the tackel shop i meet a guy that told me i should dump the piers a hit the oregon inlet.Day 4 i find this spot he was talking about what he forgot to mention was i had to drive the sand dunes for 7 miles or so ok i'm up for that.Pulled in flatend the tires down to 20 psi and on my way come around the first bend on the dunes and 2 4x4 buried to the frame in the sandEyeball Roller I'm not the smartist person on this earth and kept on a going, Got to the inlet and started fishing caught nothing big but the pole set up was just right for the fish being caught mostly 10 to 12 inch fish had a good time anyways.Fished this spot every morning for the rest of the vac. and beat on the truck a little bit on the dunes all in all i had a good time.
