How about picking an arbitrary day, such as the 2nd or 3rd Saturday or Sunday of the(every) month, and using that as a get together date. We could designate 2 or 3 of those dates to be grillin' -N- chillin' outings and just meet to fish and swap a few lies at the rest. We could even have multiple sites for the same days to avoid excessive travel/time constraints. This way we'll know well in advance of when we're getting together, and can prioritize our schedules accordingly.

I think that might be feasalbe for most.I think we sould also have a none fishing get-togeather somewhere mabe between no ice and ice and come up with some ideas on how to make this alittle more organized and help Jay make a few bucks to keep the sight running and up graded. Just my 2 cents!

Sounds good
Joe, I really dont need any money. Im going to be taking down the ads soon because my father doesnt want me making money because then i get less financial aid for college. He wanted me to get rid of all the websites that I made so i sold the others and am keeping this.

A cool idea would be to set up a booth at the Sportsman Show when it comes around. It would be a good to meet some people and talk to them about the site ect and maybe draw some new members. We could always sell some of our shirts ect.
Fisher that was actually one of the things I was planning. The problem is it costs about $500 so thats what site ads/selling things in the store pay for. I think we could get some people to man the booth and if your a vendor you get in for free. Im sure people on here wouldnt mind doing that it would be a lot of fun.

Jaw I think its closer to 800.00 and you need INS!!!! But that is some time away and we could set up a raffle atthe show to off set the cost!
Fishstory lol I know its expensive. I know some smaller ones go for around 600. Here are the prices:

Maybe the money can be better spent some other way lol.

You would have to be selling something to cover the costs! I can probally cover the INS under my buisness policy, but I don't belive the Big E alows you to do raffles! Otherwise we could raffle off a fishing trip or something " a day on the river tossing mice with YOTE"....they also don't allow you to sell someone elses product at your booth " example we couldn't sell T-Mans Tubes at the booth!
I did the home show for 9 years and they are pricks!!!
Food vendors at the Big E have to pay $10,000 up front and 20% of there Gross sales!!!
Well Im sure if people on here wanted to do something like that we could. I think we would get our name out there etc to a lot of new people and we would have new members. I wouldnt mind putting down however much revenue the ads bring in on the site to do such a thing. I run some small other sites for just the internet and they make some good revenue. Basically I just run them and take the money I make on them to better improve this site.

Yikes Wow I didn't know it was that much money for a space during the show. I thought it would be alot cheaper but I guess I wasn't thinking. I would be game for a day if someone wanted to join me. We must think a like sometimes. Thumbsup
