Got home and as I got out of the truck I could have sworn I heard a trukey gobble. So I grab the calls and the 2 cameras and head out. I can't beleave I heard this all the way from my house. He was probably a little less than 1/2 mile away from my drive way. Ended up calling him into 20 yards, 40 yards another time, and into someones back yard http://www.newenglandfishing.net/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif Not a bad little jake, the first turkey I have seen around the house in 4 or 5 years. http://www.newenglandfishing.net/style_emoticons/default/dance.gif http://www.newenglandfishing.net/style_emoticons/default/dance.gif Also had a fisher cat come to about 7 feet of me http://www.newenglandfishing.net/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif

Hope the vide came out alright, it is only a VERY VERY VERY small amount of what I got.

Crank up the volume.

"That's a Fisher Cat, I think?" Grinning1

Excellent footage of a Fisher. You should go back to that place with a ground blind and a predator call (wounded rabbit style). Set up your blind and cameras, sprinkle some fox urine around and start working the call. They will come right in to that sound. I bet you could get some wicked kool picts. and vids.

Just a few suggestions if I might, the vid is really kewl, and the fisher is the best. If you're planning on hunting this area I'd cool it with the calling. Get them to gobble and then sit. They'll come and won't get call shy.
By the way, I was out early calling a few years ago, and had a fisher almost just into my lap. Let me say he scared the he** out of me and he did not back off, I did.

Nice job bringing him in. Too bad you didn't have a .22 with you to get rid of the fisher. With him around there will be a lot less turkeys.

I don't think he will stick around till the season. This is the first turkey I have seen around my house in 4 years. Plenty of turkeys around our area, if he does stick around, great...if he doesn't, nothing lost. Beerchug
