Warning - MASS PIKE rant....

So, tonight I took my little girl to go see what should have been the best Bruins game of the year. It turned out to be a total flop. Bruins forgot to show up for the third period.

Anyway, I don't travel the pike that often at all, and holy sh$$ am I glad I don't. Over $6.00 in tolls (total round trip) from Rt. 495.

The worst part is, if you don't have a speed pass or FastPass - whatever the hell it's called - you're treated like a second class citizen!! 6 lanes open for FastPass, 1 lane open for cash only and that was inbound around 4:30pm and only 1 cash only lane open on the way home tonight. Total traffic jam nightmare at 10:30pm on a Tuesday night??? Who's in charge of that mess?? MachineGun MachineGun

As for the pike, it has definitly hiked up alittle and it will only increase for years to come.

take the T in much easier exit I think 13 of of pike riverside it's called.No traffic issues takes you right to the TD banknorth center.

Got partial season tickets, yeah, B's forgot to hit and can't figure out how to get the puck out of their end and through the neutral zone.

Get a Charlie Card for the T. Take the Pike to RT128/Rt 95 south, first exit off of that to MBTA Riverside. Card is a refillable plastic card, costs you $1.70 each way and takes just over an hour to get to the Garden. $5.25 to park.

Beats $25 to park at the Garden and then the traffic jam. Thumbsup

Yea taking the T in is best route unless you're going out after the game... in which case maybe you should take the T haha... and not have your daughter with you... yea T is best bet
