Wow, that guy Laffer better hope no prospective customers see this video. I've been seeing some stuff from Peter Schiff lately and he has some interesting ideas. He is a little too pessimistic though. He predicted the price of gold going up to $1200 an ounce by the end of 2008 (and eventually $5000 by the end of Obama's administration), which didn't happen, and he also thought oil was going to keep rising until it hit $200 a barrel and never come down.

For what it's worth, many people saw this coming. It wasn't popular in the mainstream though, which is how we got into trouble. Too many people put too much faith in the government to sort this problem out before it got out of hand, and that didn't happen.
