old power auger

I just picked up an old Eskimo power auger,free father gave it to me,seems to run good,hav`nt tried it out on the ice yet. I was wondering if someone could tell me how old it was? I know it has to be at least 25 years old, could`nt find any info on the internet then again I might not be looking in the right places.It is am Eskimo model 2000-8 serial #12824,it is orange in color, not red like the new ones.

I've also been lookin for parts for an older eskimo. Haven't found much online put you can call Ardisam if you know what you're looking for. There in Wisconsin
