Directv and new HDTV

Old set was going, so I finally gave in. Was sick of watching greenish-purple hunting shows. Opted for a Sanyo 32" from Wallieworld.

Question is: Do I now have to have Directv change the dish and obtain a new box. The system is not quite right as it is, there is a slight "ghost" in the picture.

Any help would be appreciated.

You have to get a hd box.They charge ten dollars extra for hd well worth it.

You will need the new box for HD Agree1 . Ghost is usually due to signal leakage in the incoming cable circuit. Might want to check all your connections & make sure they're secure. Good luck!!

Get the HD Box...totally worth it!!! I have a 46" Samsung and HD is like being there!!!

we just got the HD and it is amazing. we had that same problem with the picture "ghost" or things looking blurry, or like everything was on there twice, check all you cords going in and out, that is what was wrong with ours.... welcome to the world. Smoke1 Thumbsup
