This is usually a small 10-20 boat tourney that Ken has been doing for over 10 years. Although the competition is fun, it is a very light hearted tourney with many small rigs as well as the big rigs. The fishing is usually very good up there this time of year with many fish over 2 lbs caught. The river in Vt is 10 times better than in Mass and I have seen many LM over 6 lbs come to the scales in these tournies over the years. The ramp is located just off exit 7 in Springfield Vt, you can see it from the highway. He will also be having another one on Sept 10th from 7-3.

finished 2nd up there with 8 smallies for 23.8 lbs. We absolutely slaughtered the bass that day, every where we went 2-3 lb smallies were killing every bait we threw. We caught over 60 fish in an 8 hour day! The winners had all largies including a 5 lb kicker. They said it was there best day fishing ever! the had just over 25 lbs for 8 fish! When the fish are on up there, there is not a better place to be and it only gets better from here on, Next tourney Sept 10th, 7-3 out of Springfield Vt, exit 7. I know we should have at least as good of a day if not better!!

yeh and only 1.5 hours from Westfield, you should check it out! you will never want to fish in Mass again!
